Yea you will need root. see the other how to for that. there should also be a link to a file manager that works (not astro). failing that google for "root explorer.apk" and steal a copy of that

Just read the whole thread and had a lie down. Just to let you know that the second method worked fine on my 1.02 Scroll. I renamed install-recovery.sh to install-recovery.sh.old and left it in place. I assume that if I wanted to get rid of CWM I could just rename it back(?)

Hi all
got a 7inch scroll tablet today and have rooted it, was going to install clockwork but as iv got firmware 1.02s im not going to try.
I have a htc legend that i run clockwork from main recovery by putting clockwork zip file on my sd card and rename it to update.zip and run it from the main recovery menu, this is because the nand is protected

i just tried it on the scroll and it boots into clcokwork and i can scroll through the menus but i cannot select anything because the key configure is different to the htc legend

can anyone mod the key map of the htc legend recovery zip file so you can use the home key to select from the menu.

this is the link to the legend clcokwork recovery file, rename it to update.zip and put it on the root of your sd card and run it from the scrolls recovery menu but selecting "apply sdcard:update.zip"

cheers, well there is a key config file in there, just need the scroll ones.

you can use up and down to scroll throught the menu but no select key, can the legend files be edited or does a new version need to be compiled from source.
