did you do this aswell?

2. make sure you are connected to wifi

3. from home screen go to setting> wireless & networks > wi-fi settings

4. press menu 'hard button' then select 'advanced'

5. change wi-fi sleep policy to 'never'

from what i can see this mod seems to work for people with firmware 0.94 and 1.00

I see you have 1.01

Anyone else with firmware 1.01 been successful with this mod????

Yea its early days yet, good things will appear :D

I remember when I first turned it on, it told me to open the app installer and update something, after it was finished it told me I had the new firmware installed, so more than likely I DID have one of the working moddable ones

My tablet came today and I'll be charging it tonight.

I'm unsure if I should run this 'upgrade' when I start it, or if I can run it later if I so choose. I'd like to check the firmware before I update (if I update), but if so what will happen with the market, etc? Can someone fill me in? I want to do it right, right from the start!
ImageImageThere's only one way off, might as well enjoy the ride..

People asking about swapping between firmwares. to do this we need images of each rooted stock firmware (Stock as in factory reset and no user details entered yet).
Then you should be able to flash between them using fastboot on a PC no problem. We just dont have any stock images yet apart from the recovery and boot ones provided fo one firmware in another thread.
Anyway the idea is hopefully to get a cutom update.zip at some point in the near-ish future that will fix whatever problems people are having.
