Upgrade to V.1.0.2 Firmware

I've set my desktop to rotate at 32rpm as it saves having to worry which way up the app is!

I just taped my scroll to a record deck and use a monkey with a pencil to play the accelerometer based games

this may be a dim question, but...

I upgraded the firmware, but managed to lose the Gmail and YouTube apps - possibly others I haven't noticed - assumed I'd just be able to download them again, but the Gmail app I found needs Android 2.2 - would someone be able to tell me how I get these back, please?

Not sure about Gmail but Youtube does not work in the new firmware. All videos played perfectly in 1.01 but now they all produce an "web page unavailable" error message.

Update: I didn't try to go back to 1.01. I rooted the Scroll will Z4root (after much arguing from Kaspersky saying there was a Linux trojan in "Rage Against The Cage" - had to disable Kaspersky to even be allowed to download the file) then I installed the new signed YouTube apk available elsewhere in the forum and it works perfectly again, woohoo!

when i asked SO about the upside down issue they blamed the software authors. Christ knows how.. unless the software doesnt allow for the accelerometer.

SO have accepted that the upside down screen is a Firmware problem

This issue is with the Processor chipset firmware and we have highlighted this with the chipset manufacturer. This issue will hopefully be resolved soon.

Cant for the life of me remember the racing game i played, but it was perfect when i was lay down on my side playing it, sat up no chance of playing it. still looking for a game to play whilst doing handstands though
