need recovery dump!!!

Hello everyone!

I have crashed recovery partition on my chinese tablet pc s1008, FW_v1.01. If anyone have same device, can You send me Your recovery partition dump?
You can create it using following string from Droid Explorer's console on PC or Terminal Emulator on device.

dd if=/dev/mtd/mtd6 of=/sdcard/recovery.img bs=4096

then just copy recovered dump "recovery.img" to me. For this operations You need root access. Get it by using z4root.1.3.0.apk!!

Download this to get root access!!
MOD EDIT - (Link to old version removed) Use z4root 1.3.0v, this works with the scroll - There is a link in the 'How to Root' Guide on this forum

I needed essentially the same thing, so if anyone could be so kind (and awesome) as to post one, that'd definitely help me out as well...

It would help if you both said whether it is for a 7" or 8" scroll

Also If I remember right - there are these files on the forum already, for the 8" scroll

thats right i think Evilbobins uploaded them after he bricked his 1st scroll
but cant remember where
try search for stock.img ?
