Hi all
I have a 7inch scroll tablet with firmware 1.02s, im running clockworkmod recovery from sd card. I have flashed this ROM but it doesnt boot, just freezes on the scroll logo.
any ideas what iv done wrong

Unfortunately, because Steve said they were no good I deleted them.
Can I suggest you do the same as I did and email SO for a download link to them. They do respond pretty quickly.

I hope not, but the UK importers of this device dont want to give out all the required files in order to build another version.

ahhhh, 'tis the case of the age old story of "why let users upgrade their devices when we can just make them buy another one"... still it's not bad for a bunch of cheap bits and bobs soldered together

Don't S.O. realise, that if they did give us the required files (which they are required to by law under the open source general licence) and we could get a working 2.2 for the scroll - they too could download it and use it on their scrolls, that they sell???? (S.O. are you listening, oops, reading????)

Did you all notice I got warned and demoted for telling you exactly this was happening ?
There was never going to be a 2.2 ROM for the Scroll, it was all a ploy to get a free device between 2 or 3 people.
Damn, there was probably never even a scroll bought with the donations.
