got full working market with cyanogen mod but a few other things dont work like video and accelerometer
you could backup your scroll flash funs rom use market dowload apps then recover to 2.1 and add the apps from sdcard or is that a pain

Recently I installed CYANOGEN 7.0.3 while trying to convince myself that the phone is well worth, however the ROM is cool, but the phone remains still laggy, also tried to Overclock the CPU to 768MHZ. :( The phone lagged to such an extend that i needed to contact the retailer from whom i bought it and he asked me to install cyanogen. Though being a high end smart phone, gaming on HTC Wildfire disappoints me a lot. :(

As per its specs initially i found it to be attractive with better processor however this not the case. :x Since I have unlimited mobile internet I use it on my laptop via cable or wifi hotspot! however the only negative about this is the battery life. (battery life is average but not a major issue to me since it can hold 1 and half days with game, music and wifi, however if you treat it as only a phone for calling and sms,it lasts 2 and half days sometime 3 days without charge on 3g network.. GSM only 2 days).
