Removing Photos from Gallery

I have a scroll excel tablet and somehow have managed to get a few photos onto it without knowing how, I now would like to know how I can remove these photos.

hi geekgirl74 and welcome to the forum
open the gallery and select the batch where the photo is. camera/temp/downloads where ever they are then long press the picture and you will see a tick now you can either select the dustbin to delete or long press another picture to multi delete
