It's unfortunate that you have dust under the screen. Please note that even if you did not, you WILL at some point - It has been an issue will all Scroll Tablets. My 1st gen Scroll tablet did not dust under the screen when new, but after a month or two some appeared, same thing with the Excel.

It could have been a test unit, perhaps? It had a wireless access point already saved on it called MIDTEST1 or something. Did anyone else's have this? Either way, I won't let it dampen my opinion of it, I was very impressed regardless

Ok so the dirt speck on the extreme affects 5 pixels all together, well above the acceptable 2 allowed by the iso standards that ebuyer adopt, (for a screen of this resolution)... should be a straight forward return touch wood!......
