Seems like you need to do some reading: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=2757 Have a look at the section on (How to hack an Allwinner A10 powered tablet) unbricking your tablet which works on Cortex8 A10 based devices.
If it isn't broken then don't try to fix it!

In Windows go to control panel/device manager - and look for either an unknown device or a USB device with a yellow/black exclamation mark against it - when you find it, right click the entry and choose to update drivers from the options given - and browse to your Livesuite folder and choose/select the LIvesuite provided USB drivers either 32 bit or 64 bit accordingly. If this doesn't resolve the driver issue then go back to device manager and uninstall the drivers with the exclamation mark against them. (right click - choose uninstall)

Then run Livesuite again as per the instructions and if/when Windows tries to install drivers, interrupt the automatic installation and select the option to browse your computer (sometimes shown as Have Disc) for the drivers. Browse to your Livesuite location and choose either the 32 bit or 64 bit USB drivers (according to your Windows version) 32 bit are marked as X86.

If you still cant get things to work then try deleting the complete Livesuite folder, and unpack LIvesuite v 1.0.9 and try the process again - the key is to prevent Windows installing the drivers it thinks you need and to make sure the Livesuite drivers get installed.

My bad I did actually mean version 1.09.
What exactly have you tried to flash via CWM? Do you know if whatever it is that it is compatible with your tabet?
Your problem started out explaining that you were trying to use Livesuite - if you start flashing files willy-nilly with CWM you will end up with a brick.

Providing that you have a fully compatible ROM (you say you have JB) and you also have an A8 Cortex A10 CPU in your tablet then you should be able to flash the image. You do not say what exactly happened when you tried what I advised about Device Manager? Did you get rid of the Exclamation mark or not? You need to get the USB driver issue sorted out first but if you have used CWM to flash the ROM in desperation then you may have compounded your problems.

Ok thanks I have a better understanding now. The ICS 4.0.3 file you started to flash is Suggsy89's customised rom for the Excel. This file needs to be flashed using LIvesuite not CWM as it has CWM built into it. This ROM can be updated with a file also made by Suggsy89 to update the 4.0.3 ROM to 4.0.4 and that file is designed to installed using CWM.
However, as we don't know for certain what your 4 year old did none of this is now relevant other than the fact you were not installing the 4.0.3 files as was designed - i.e. with Livesuite.

It seems to me now that your only chance of getting back on an even keel is to get the USB driver issue sorted out.
There are other USB driver files you can try here: http://www.box.com/s/4g5ltrz7ak5yxi3nleih choose the appropriate one to try ie 32 bit or 64 bit. You will need to uninstall the existing tablet USB drivers as these are not sutable for Livesuite. Keep trying with the Livesuite drivers but the sequence you do this is important.
Once you have uninstalled the current tablet USB drivers, run livesuite again. If LIvesuite refuses to run and gives an error then delete the working copy of Livesuite, reboot the PC and then unpack Livesuite v 1.0.9 again.

I suggest you forget the JB image for now until you get your tablet working again. Try flashing Suggsy89's 4.0.3 rom that you downloaded using Livesuite as this will also give you CWM as well as it is built in to the image.

Don't let Windows install its own drivers - if/when it tries - interrupt it and choose to install the USB drivers found in the Livesuite folder first of all. If this doesn't work then try installing the one you downloaded from the link above, if none of these work then we need to find a USB driver that will work on your tablet - if we don't overcome this problem first then you can't proceed further so this is a critical task.

These are the instructions to flash the firmware/img for all A10 devices: Use the 4.0.3 Image you have downloaded as a safe bet.

LiveSuite can only be run from a Windows PC and you may have to disable your Firewall to get LiveSuite to operate trouble free.

 Make sure your Scroll A10 tablet has at least 50% charge.

 Unplug your Scroll A10 tablet from any power or USB connections.

 Start LiveSuite by double-clicking on the circular LiveSuit.exe icon and then browse to and select the new image from where you downloaded it onto your PC

 Make sure tablet is completely powered OFF and not just in standby mode.

 Plug your USB cable into your PC but don’t connect to your tablet yet.

 Whilst pressing the Volume Up button; plug the USB cable into your Scroll A10 tablet.
(Note some tablets require you to use buttons other than the Volume + such as the Menu button)

 Whilst still pressing the Volume Up button, make quick presses of the Power button up to 10 times repeatedly or until you hear the usb device connected acknowledgment sound on your PC.

 You can now release all the tablet buttons and place the connected tablet down safely.

 If this is the first time your Scroll Allwinner A10 tablet has been connected to a PC Windows will prompt you to load the tablet’s USB Windows drivers. Go to Control Panel – Device Manager and locate “Unknown Device” under Other Devices. The proper drivers are in the LiveSuite folder under “usb drivers”. Select either 32-bit or 64-bit drivers, depending whether you have 32 bit or 64 bit versions of Windows

 LiveSuite will prompt you asking if you want to “Mandatory Format” when the drivers are installed.

 Click OK to this prompt and again to the “Are you Sure” prompt.

 The flashing of the new rom should progress as indicated in LiveSuite by the coloured band progress bar.

 Wait for the flashing process to complete and then if necessary, turn ON the tablet with the Power button.

 Select “Exit” Livesuite (on your Windows PC) and unplug the USB cable from the tablet.

 You have just flashed your tablet with a new ROM.
